Youth Classes

NURSERY AGES 0-2
Childcare is provided for infants through age two. Childcare is available at both our 9:30am and 11:00am services. The nursery offers a lot of love along with fun play for children who enjoy discovering while they play. The nursery room is equipped with a small crib/play pen, high chair, TV/videos, a rocker and plenty of toys so the little ones can explore.

PRE-SCHOOL AGES 3-5
The curriculum and classroom environment for the children ages 3 to 5 is designed to teach the children the importance of God’s Love. Through the use of stories, art, games, meditation and various activities we teach the children God is absolute Good, and because they are an image of God they share the same Goodness. In teaching this concept such attributes as sharing and giving come easier. We currently use the following Unity curriculum to teach the children: Children on the Quest, God Is! You Are…Reflecting the Twelve Powers Within and It’s a Small World. Classes for this age group are offered at the 11:00AM Services.

ELEMENTARY AGES 6-9
The classroom structures and curriculum for the youth ages 6 to 10 are designed to help the youth recognize their own potentials through positive thinking and actions. Every week the youth are encouraged to use everyday situations from which they were confronted in order to recognize their Christ-Like abilities. This approach helps them to value their teachings as a spiritual journey. The curriculum used to help educate our youth is from the Association of Unity Churches; Children on the Quest and God Is! You Are…Reflecting the Twelve Powers Within. Classes for this age group are offered at the 11:00AM Services.
