Our UNITEEN and Y.O.U. classes begin at 11:00am. The curriculum is designed to help the youth explore possibilities and how their thoughts and behavior connect to the choices they are forced to make in everyday situations. The curriculum also encourages positive responses as they act upon the decisions they are forced to make. Also, the curriculum is based on the, “Basic Unity Principles of A Living Curriculum.” Our firm belief is that children should be allowed to use everyday practical experiences to develop core values that will help them to embodied spiritual principles.
UNITEENS AGES - 9 to 13
Unity principles teach us that we are naturally good and that we make choices based on morals. The curriculums used to teach and facilitate the Uniteens allow them to take ownership for their decisions and actions. Very similar to the Elementary curriculum, Uniteens use everyday situations in order to understand their Christ-Like abilities and how to use them positively in order to build healthy relationships with family and friends. Classes for this age group are offered at the 11:00AM Services.
Y.O.U. AGES - 14 to 18
Youth of Unity (Y.O.U.) is facilitated by adult sponsors who prepare the young adults for local and regional rallies and activities. Classes for this age group are offered at the 11:00AM Services or in accordance with scheduled activities.
