The Path of Discovery at Unity Church of Christianity—
“Unity on Greenville”— consists of three short classes
offering you a quick and easy journey into the heart and
soul of both our spiritual community and our lifechanging
Unity teachings.
The classes strengthen your connection with folks in our community and understanding of Unity. And should you be guided to join our church, your completion of this 3-part class meets our membership requirements.
Sometimes, when we go to a new place, it can feel as if everyone knows everyone else and knows right where to go, while we’re on the outside looking in. Please know that you are always on the inside here...and these Path of Discovery classes can help you feel right at home very quickly.

Sunday, August 3rd, 12:15 to 1:45 pm (Bring your potluck lunch to Youth Room, first floor)
This class will familiarize you with the many programs and activities we have available to you and
your family for spiritual growth and personal support. You’ll have the chance to meet Rev. Steve
Colladay and folks from the church right away, and begin to feel more at home.

Rev. Steve and other Unity folks present a spirited overview of the basic principles and core beliefs
that are at the heart of Unity. In this class we answer some of the most frequently asked questions
about Unity, and participants are introduced to the practices of affirmative prayer and meditation.

This final class in The Path of Discovery is designed for those who are guided to become members
of Unity on Greenville. Rev. Steve and other Unity leaders offer an in-depth review of our spiritual
community’s mission and vision, and core values. The class explains the membership process and
what it means to be a member of Unity Church of Christianity.
Pre-requisite: Completion of both “Unity on Greenville and You” and “Unity Quick Start” classes
described above.

You may be notified by e-mail when the latest issue is posted on our website (www.dallasunity.org) which has Spirit Express on the "Newsletter" page. Or you may pick up a paper copy at church, or you may have a paper copy mailed to you. By doing this we save energy, paper, fuel, and lots of other valuable resources. 6 Week Gentle Yoga Series

A rejuvenating and relaxing gentle hatha yoga sequence with concentration on flexibility, strength and alignment.
Based on Integral Yoga, this six-week course at Unity on Greenville teaches a gentle hatha yoga sequence that you can practice anytime for inner and outer physical fitness and well-being. The course will get you started on a yoga practice that will help stretch your muscles, tone your body, massage your inner organs, and build muscle strength and endurance.
Suitable for all body types and levels of fitness, this style of yoga helps you achieve flexibility and relaxation while strengthening core muscles. It will help you reduce stress and prepare you for a more focused meditation practice. You will be amazed at the progress you make every week.
Eileen McKee, a Dallas certified Integral Yoga teacher, has taught this method nationally and internationally for 40 years. Integral Yoga was founded by Swami Satchidananda and utilized by Dr. Dean Ornish in his groundbreaking work in reversing heart disease.
The Monday night series will begin June 9 and continue for six consecutive weeks. A series class is the perfect way to help you commit to your yoga practice. The cost of the series is $60! (Your fee will be accepted at the first class.) Dress in clothes you can stretch in, and bring a mat or towel.

Sunday Fellowship Time
Join us in our Fellowship area in the upper room following our Sunday Services...plenty of room to snack on goodies, have a cup of java, and chat with folks.

Unity Supports You In Prayer
Our approach to prayer is affirmative, confidential, and is based on positive prayers and affirmations that have universal appeal.
Our Prayer Chaplains are available to pray with you immediately after our Sunday Services. In addition, all members of Unity on Greenville receive a monthly phone call from a Prayer Chaplain offering prayer support. If you are not a church member, but would like to receive a monthly Prayer Chaplain call, please contact the church office.

You may also receive prayer support by placing your prayer request in our prayer box in the foyer or online. Rev. Steve and our Prayer Chaplains hold these requests in their prayers, and the prayer requests are also forwarded to Silent Unity at Unity Village where they are held in prayer for 30 days.
