Tinkergarten letter

Hello,

I want to take a moment to introduce you to Hart Parris.  Hart is new to Unity on Greenville and she comes to us with energy, excitement and a plan!  Together we are working on the final details of a broad scope program called   Beat on Greenville.  There are several components to this program and today I wish to allow Hart to share the plan for Tinkergarten.  Hart comes to us experienced in creative programs with children through Habitat for Humanity and with interviewing children to tell their stories in community publications.  Please read Hart’s words:

I have applied to be a leader with an outdoor early childhood education program for kids age 18 months through 8 years old called Tinkergarten (tinkergarten.com). It’s a national program parents and children to play and learn together outside, and I want to help lead classes at Unity on Greenville located at 3425 Greenville Avenue (corner of Greenville and McCommas

As part of my application process, the team at Tinkergarten has asked me to make a short video of me leading one of their activities. So, I am looking to gather about 5 families to meet outside and give this a try.

I will be recording the session, but the video will only be viewed by the Tinkergarten team. If you are up for giving this program a try with me, I would love to have you join me!

I'm really excited about the program and would love to have you be part of my demo. Please reply to let us know if you can attend on Saturday, March 14, 2020 at 11:00 in the courtyard of Unity on Greenville.  The experience will be: Forest Putty

If you want to learn more about Tinkergarten, you can check out their website at tinkergarten.com.   Please feel free to call Unity on Greenville for more information about Hart or the TInkergarten Program.

Many blessings await,

Rev. Karen Romestan and Hart Parris
