Oh how I have enjoyed sharing The Tao Te Ching for the past few weeks. i always am delighted to see how other faith traditions meld so easily with Unity.
I think it is entirely possible that The Beatles were Unity followers. Perhaps they were not aware of it yet this song really speaks Unity! The lyrics to “All You Need Is Love” begins with:
There's nothing you can do that can't be done

Nothing you can say but you can learn how to play the game

Love is all you need.
There is nothing that you or I cannot do. We can all write, cook, and sketch. We all have the ability to express our divine creativity. We all express it in our own unique way. We can all sing. Indeed, my singing voice is very unlike Rachel’s singing and you may not enjoy hearing me as you enjoy hearing Rachel, yet I sing! Stand next to me any Sunday morning and you will know that I give it all I’ve got! AND Dylan has promised to always turn my mic off so that I can comfortably sing with all my heart.
There is nothing that you or I cannot create with our hands, or by using tools, or by the power of our thoughts and words. Each of us has experienced the power of our creative capacity. Each of us creates every moment of every day. Each of us have created the ambiance of our living environment. Perhaps ours is a carefree, easy breezy space or perhaps it is a formal, elegant space or anything in between. We all create the energy others feel in our work space that allows others to feel very relaxed or a little more serious. We also create our personal space that area around us where others feel our energy vibration when they are near us. We are creating machines and as the song says “It’s easy, all you need is Love”
We know in Unity that love is so much more that the emotion or the infatuation we have with another person or possession. Love is power. Love is what sees good until good is all there is. Love is the law of attraction in action.
Love is the power that attracts to us all that we need to bring our ideas into reality. Love is the magnet that draws me to all I need to make my life manifest.
When we engage the power of love, we literally love something into existence by caring for and about it so very much. When we engage our ability of love, we hold our idea or desire in our most positive thoughts, we nurture it into existence. While you may need to call upon other powers and abilities, and for the sake of The Beatles Sunday, we can say “All you need is love, love, Love is all you need".
