How I Used Truth was first published in 1916 yet it remains a Unity classic and is as practical as when it was first written! The writings of Emilie Cady (1848-1941) appeared in Unity Magazine and Progress Magazine. Her writings continue to instruct and inspire seekers of spiritual truth and the Christ-centered life.
This 5 session course facilitated by our own Karen Romestan will give you an understanding of who Emilie Cady was in the Unity Movement. Throughout this course, you will gain a deeper level of understanding of your Christ Consciousness, learn and practice skills to bring to your life the good that you desire. You will answer these questions: Who am I? Where does Truth come from? and What is the Truth? Please join Karen in exploring How I Used Truth and “prove all things” for yourself.
About Emilie Cady
Emilie Cady was a homeopathic physician from New York when her little booklet, Finding the Christ in Ourselves crossed the desk of Unity co-founder Myrtle Fillmore. This led to a dynamic partnership with the Fillmore's, a personal and professional relationship that would come to help and encourage untold millions.
Cady had a concise and straightforward manner of expressing the Truth and was consequently asked by Charles and Myrtle to author a series of lessons for publication in the Unity periodicals. With some reluctance, Ms Cady accepted the assignment. The rest is history!
About Karen Romestan
Karen Romestan is director of our Youth and Family Ministry, a Unity Prayer Chaplain, a Unity Sacred Healing Circle facilitator, and a co-facilitator for Our Compassionate Companion monthly group. Karen is completing the requirements for the Licensed Unity Teacher program of Unity Worldwide Ministries.
